    Reading the lovely tributes to Freddie it just goes to show what a wonderful singer he and Queen was. I am nearly 60 and have been to Beatles, Rolling Stones concerts etc. in my teens, I have been through some great music eras, but Freddie and Queen have been with me since the beginning. Its not just his music, so many of the lyrics fit to your moods and you can play them and laugh or cry with them. My children (now in their 30s)think the music is great, and when I went to my grandchildrens concert what were they singing, yes Queens songs (they just cannot understand how Nanny knows all the words). Feddie and Queen will live for as long as people love great music.

    We all share in one of music's greatest losses. Freddie was a great showman and entertainer. I only got to see queen w/Freddie once but will never forget. Not a day goes by without hearing a queen song on the radio.
