im from india, currently in the uk visiting. queen were a great band, but without doubt freddie mercury made them the that. his vocal power was just awesome. nothing like indian singers, though good- have very limited singing range, and the usual weak western crooners. i remember when i was around 18 hearing a snippet of body language in a bollwoody film in a cinema in mumbai. the audience stirred a little, clearly very surprised by the voice. western singers are not much rated in india for reasons that are quite obvious! the audience went quiet and listened to the 2 min snippet quietly. usually this is the noisey bit, college guys get a bit crazy leering at the half clad female hero of the film doing her dance routine alongside the supercool hero. loud hystirical wolf whisstling is the norm! a college guy sitting next to me nudged me and asked "whos singing that yar, its real cool" i said it was elvis, it was just a guess. i had never heard of freddie or queen. someone behind responded " his names queen, hes american" we started chatting, he was sweet, exchanged numbers, and married him 5 years later! that was the first time i heard freddie mercurys voice. i think its so sad he passed away the way he did. i will always remember that day in mubai because i met my husband and introduced me to the voice of freddie mercury.

Freddie Mercury helped me to construct my life with a good meaning. Queen's lyrics have been mixing my life with happiness, and I'm proud of being a Queen fan for that. Unfortunatelly, we only realise whom we lose when they're not between us already. Rest in peace, Sir Freddie Mercury - the eternal Lord of the GlamRock.

Freddie Mercury has touched our hearts in many different ways.I am 10 years old and cried the first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody. It is my fave song cos it is so emotional. Why did such a talented person die at such a young age.Is there no justice in the world.

hell.
I remember back when I was under 10, around 4-8 years old, my friend started listening to Queen, and since i was spending most of the time at his place, i started it too. We completed our collection of every single album as we continued listening to them all of the time. For the past few years I've almost forgotten about the music itself, but lately by mistake i've found 2 of my favourite songs in some old never-viewed mp3 folders. I decided to listen to them, and that's when childhood passed through my eyes. I remember all the good and bad times i've had while listening to Queen's music. It helped me out many times. Thanks Freddie. We will never forget you.
