Got into the car this morning to drive to work and the dj was playing "I want to break free" so imagines of the video danced across my mind as I drove. Just after the song finished I drive into a huge fog which lasted for ages, it was spooky yet exciting and the swirls and grey enveloped me and kept me safe. Then when I came out into the wondeful blue of the early morning I saw two brolga birds feeding at the side of the road, their slender necks arched to the ground and their grey bodies shiny and sleek. And of course I thought : Its a beautiful day and nothings going to stop me now. So Freddie, our birthday man, a collective thought has has been racing round the planet today as we all pay tribute to you, the man, god, singer, friend. How much we all miss you but it is important that everyone has their own birthday party for Freddie. He loved to party so much and I have spent my day imagining what outrageous theme he would have put on this year has he been a mortal instead of a soul. Perhaps some of you would like to share you thoughts with as to what the theme would have been. I think this years would have been a yellow and black year, with guests asked to wear suitable fancy dress in that colour. All the food would have been either black or yellow and the flowers would have been yellow , masses of flowers everywhere. Anyway those where the reflections of this Aussie fan. Freddie darling! Everytime I listen to your songs, I always feel my heart is filled with awe of your amazing vocals. The more I listen to them, the more I want to listen to them. Not a day would pass without listening to your voice. I still miss you a lot...I love you like crazy!!!
