There are so many individual things I could say about Queen that single out every single talentess piece of shite that graces this planet today - but there is no room. So heres a summary of how I feel, enjoy! Pop music - Freddie Mercury; Michael Jackson; Elvis Presley; John Lennon; (and a few others) These are the names that will be the entities of 'pop' music in years to come. Classical enthusiasts need, and are only aware of the above. It's like classical music - the general public are only aware of Beethoven, Mozart and Shubert, perhaps - not Purcell, Couperin and Raff. Pop is to be fair, simple and does not really appeal to the truly musically intellectual (Queen is an exception of course). Queen & Freddie Mercury were something else, not just in pop - but music as a whole. No matter how advanced in classical music I become, my true influence, forgetting harmony, theory, being told whats good and bad by people with loads of letters after there name will and always will be, the magical, heavenly, influential and charismatic music of Queen!
