As i am only 18 one of my greatest regrets in life is that i was not able to see Queen in concert. Freddie was a true entertainer and it is so sad that he passed away when he did. It was an even sadder day for music when he passed but he left behind a legend that will live on.

Although i am only sixteen, I'm a massive fan of Queen and, of course, the legendary Freddie Mercury. The man IS brilliant and has got such a wonderful voice and whenever I get a free moment, I'll be listening to Queen and that magnificent voice of Freddie. The legend of Freddie will live forever I'm sure, as will his music, and i am just so annoyed that I wasn't born a few years earlier, because i might have been able to go to at least one of Queen's concerts! I believe he is partying on in heaven!! Freddie, we LOVE you

AMERICAN IDOL IS THE MOST POPULAR, SUCCESSFUL SHOW IN AMERICA. I HAD WATCHED THIS SEASON FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE SONG FOR THE WEEK FOR THE CONTESTANTS TO PICK WAS TO PICK A SONG TO SING WHEN YOU WERE BORN. A CONTESTANT FROM NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, CONSTANTINE MORALES, PICKED BOHEMIAN RHAPOSDY. HAVING A MUSICAL BACKGROUND MYSELF, I THOUGHT THIS SONG, IF NOT DONE RIGHT, COULD PROVE DISASTEROUS. WHO WOULD WANT TO SING A WORLD WIDE POPULAR SONG FROM A WORLD WIDE ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST, AS ACCOMPLISHED AS FREDDIE. AS SIMON COWELL STATED "YOU DON'T EVEN TOUCH THAT SONG". LUCKILY, THE CONTESTANT PULLED IT OFF, AND I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT FREDDIE WOULD HAVE DONE.....REACHED FOR THE STARS. I WAS A SOPHMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN "A NIGHT AT THE OPERA" WAS RELEASED IN AMERICA. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE SEEN FREDDIE PERFORM ON STAGE AND SAW HIS CONFIDENCE, AND VERY STRONG STAGE PERSONA SHINE THROUGH. I HAVEN'T SEEN A PERFORMER IN THE PAST NOR NOW PERFORM LIKE HIM SINCE.
