    Gosh, I still remember where I was when I heard that Freddie had passed away. I cried, and still cry when I hear "Somebody to Love". I think of you, Freddie, you will be always missed.Play on in Heaven.

    I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES WHO GOT TO SEE FREDDIE AND QUEEN IN 1980 IN MADISON SQUARE GARDEN IN NEW YORK. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHEN FREDDIE CAME OUT BEFORE THE CONCERT AND THE STAGE LIGHTS WERE STILL OFF. YOU COULD NOT SEE HIM WELL. HE SAID "HELLO NEW YORK" THE CROWD WENT CRAZY, I KNEW I WAS LISTENING TO A LEGEND. I KNEW THEN WHERE QUEEN STOOD IN THE LEGACY OF MUSIC. HE WAS STILL TALKING BUT YOU COULD NOT HEAR WHAT HE WAS SAYING. HE BROUGHT DOWN THE HOUSE BEFORE HE SANG A SONG. WE ARE THE HONORED ONES FOR HAVING TO HAVE KNOWN THIS GREAT SINGER, WRITER, FRONTMAN, MUSICIAN, ENTERTAINER. I WILL ALWAYS BE GREATFUL TO HAVE BEEN BORN AT A TIME WHEN I GOT TO SEE HIM. TO READ ALL THESE TRIBUTES THAT YOU ALL WERE BORN TO LATE TO SEE HIM. QUEEN CONCERTS WERE THE MOST SPECIAL. WHEN YOU SEE QUEEN LIVE AT WEMBLEY. OR BETTER YET LIVE AID. JUST WATCH AND FEEL THE MAGIC. I WISH EVERYONE COULD HAVE SEEN QUEEN LIVE WITH FREDDIE MERCURY. WHEN I HEAR HIS MUSIC HE GIVES GREAT RESILIENCE AND HOPE TO CARRY ON EVEN IN THE DARKEST OF TIME. HIS VOICE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. I DON'T THINK EVEN FREDDIE COULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS OUT-POURING FROM ACROSS THE WORLD. QUEEN WILL ALWAYS BE ETCHED IN MY HEART.
