Freddie, Freddie, Freddie. The ultimate frontman for the ultimate rock n roll band. In my life(40+ years) I have seen almost every major rock act live. My favorite? Queen w/Billy Squier @ the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. I will never forget the experience or the incomparable Freddie Mercury...Brian, Roger and John were pretty good that night, too.

Listening to one of your songs still gives me the goose bumps. That´s been going on for about 30 years now and it will never change. I´d love to have a couple of pints with you in heaven. My dearest Freddie. I dont know where to start. You are present in every single part of my life and i think about you every day. You make me feel happy, sad, lonely, excited, passionate, dramatic, hopeful... Never before in my life have i relied on anyone so much and although sometimes it scares me that the person who keeps me going isn't alive anymore, I am always grateful. You make me want to live. your voice gives me hope in this horrible world that we live in and your strength gives me the strength and courage to be who I am and to never give up. Just the thought of you gives me a reason to be. I don't believe in heaven so i know i will never meet you, but i do believe that you are watching us from somewhere. I hope that you know of my love for you and i hope that you love me for it. You rule my world. I remember first listening to you music and falling in love with your voice. Now i am in love with everything about you, your strength, your wisdom, your kindness, your lyrics, your playing, your singing, you you you you you. I love you and i always will. It saddens me so much to know that you are not alive anymore and to know that i can never come close to you or hear you play live. You are my obsession, you are my hope and my saviour, you are the person who inspires me and my art and makes me live. I will never forget that. I will never forget you. You were far too beautiful for this world. No one can ever stop you, there is no one but you. All my love always.

It was wonderful to see you this weekend. 2,500+ miles didn't quite get me as far as you are now, but it got me close. And whatever those dolts say, I know you appreciate your friends and fans keeping your memory alive. Neat trick you played with my camera though... Got myself an invisible man. Always the poet eh?
