Freddie, Though I am very young, I was raised up on your music. I have always loved it and always will. I wasn't alive for your tragic death but it devistated me and i'm sure every true queen fan the same. You have taught me to be who I am and people never let anyone tell me otherwise.I miss you and will never forget you. Bunched of Love, Hannah s.

Matilde

I can't believe that nearly 13 years after Freddie's tradgic passing, people are still paying tribute to him. It is a true testament to his amazing musical abilities and personality. I know he is resting peacefully. Freddie will be missed ever day that his music is heard...

When my sons were playing "A Day at the Races" and "A Night at the Opera" and playing in their bands in the 70's and 80's Queen was background music to me as a young and very busy Mom. More recently in my career as a History Professor and author, I got interested in the band, read several Mercury biographies and began voraciously collecting cd's and fell in love with them and their music. Queen was unique and the most accomplished rock band of that golden era. They all demonstrated such great musicianship and are creative great composers. Perhaps because of his charisma, showmanship and very tragic death at such a young age I suppose Freddie Mercury will always capture our imagination. We continue to muse about what he might have done had he lived longer. He was the consumate performer, creative artist and true genius. When I hear his voice with Monserrat on Barcelona it makes me cry as the music hits such soaring heights. His last works reflect a man beginning to express his real compassion and spirituality for humanity. If Freddie were alive today,I think he would be re-creating himself over and over again in many different fields as he did during his short career. He would no doubt be composing operatic works, symphonic scores and film sound tracks.Freddie and Queen would be at the vanguard of a mass peace and humanitarian movement. I wish I had been a rock fan when they were in their heyday and could have seen them perform live. Are there any fans out there who did?
