Brian has been made a Commander of the British Empire for his work for charity which includes the Mercury Phoenix Trust and the British Bone Marrow Association amongst two. Its fitting that Brian receives the honour while he is peforming at another Charity Concer today in Tromso, Norway for the 46664 charity.

The honour follows countless Queen fans campaigning on his behalf for some kind of recognition for all the great work that he has done over the years.
