VH1 QUEEN NEWS
In addition to the Rolling Stones tour and the Pink Floyd reunion at Live 8, one of the big classic rock stories of the summer has been Paul Rodgers joining Queen for a tour.

Giving voice to the many famous Queen songs is no easy feat, to be sure, and even Rodgers admits that it hasn't been easy filling Freddie Mercury's shoes. "Queen music is very unique. Everything they do is kind of, just takes a left turn when you think it's gonna go right, all the time. And for that matter, you know, in that respect, it was quite a handful for me to get to grips with it."

Queen + Paul Rodgers are taking a rest after their European tour, which culminated with a concert in London's Hyde Park last month, mere days after the terror attacks there. They will be heading over here for a New York-area show on October 16th, followed by one in LA on the 26th of that month.
