"Classic Albums: Queen: A Night At The Opera" offers a critical look at the group's historical album through live performances and archival interviews with the late Freddie Mercury as well as exclusive interviews with music critics and surviving band members Roger Taylor and Brian May.

This premiere builds off of VH1 Classic's extensive new programming slate as the network continues to bring its viewers exclusive never-before-seen concerts, series and specials from some of the hottest bands from the 60, 70s, 80s and early 90s.

VH1 Classic's premier series "Classic Albums" tells the story behind the making of one of rock music's most influential albums. The series made its debut on Monday, October 2 with "Elton John: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." Additional episodes that have aired include "Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland," "Def Leppard: Hysteria," "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon" and "Judas Priest: British Steel." Upcoming episodes include Motorhead "Ace of Spades," Fleetwood Mac "Rumours," The Band "The Band," U2 "The Joshua Tree," The Sex Pistols "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols."
