Famous for his generosity, Freddie autographed and presented it as a gift to his close friend Kenny Everett, who later donated it as a competition prize.

“Freddie and Kenny were very close friends, a friendship that stretched all the way back to 1975 and the release of the Queen classic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

“Kenny was given an advance copy of the single from Freddie, with the proviso that it was not to be played on the air.
