"Brian May receives his Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his contribution to astronomy and the public understanding of science. Brian was an accomplished astronomy student at Imperial College, London when his music career with Queen took off. However his interest in the stars never waned and recently he co-authored 'Bang! The Complete History of the Universe' with Patrick Moore and Chris Lintott
