On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
I can't imagine them coming to the US and NOT playing NYC, so that would be very likely, in my book. Greg

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
Thanks, Erin! I hope you're right. Seeing them would mean so much to me. I'm going to send a nice email to Brian later this afternoon and hope for the best...maybe a US tour update or something of the kind. Here's hop...

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
I think it would be a good idea, at least to get an idea of what we can expect. Brian's usually wonderful about replying (although the tour is obviously eating up much of his time!), so I'd imagine at least one of us...

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
Erin, I'm going to see them in Birmingham, but I STILL won't feel totally comfortable until I'm actually IN Birmingham...I'm paranoid about making my connecting flight, of delays, etc...So yes, I'm going, but I'm stil...

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
This bothers me, although I don't give it much credit due to its second (or third) hand nature. Even if a BIG tour isn't something the guys are particularly enthusiastic about, why not play two weeks' worth of gigs in...

Other setlist for the summer gigs?
Fenderek, Sure, I can definitely understand that...If you go to several shows, it would be nice to see an odd song change/surprise now and again. Greg

The miracle album
I think there are some VERY strong tracks on "The Miracle" -- IWIA, Breakthru, The Miracle, and several others. It's an uneven album, but about half of it is pure gold.

Other setlist for the summer gigs?
No offense to anyone, but I think some people are nit-picking here...After 19 years Queen (or whatever you choose to call them) is back, they're giving some damn good concerts, and people are complaining about hearing...

To all those travelling to English gigs- QUEENZONE meetings?
Sorry - Queenfan and Headlong, I mean! Sorry you won't be there, Lisser. Still, the US tour should bring hope.

To all those travelling to English gigs- QUEENZONE meetings?
Lisser and Headlong -- Let's get together and stay in touch until then! I've discovered that even though I'm arriving early (around 10 AM), I can't check into my hotel room until 2pm...So I'll just have them hold my l...

To all those travelling to English gigs- QUEENZONE meetings?
And, hey, it's not every day I get to visit England...I'm going to live it up a little... Greg

To all those travelling to English gigs- QUEENZONE meetings?
Fenderek, I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza NEC, which is just a fourth of a mile from the NEC Arena. Kinda pricy, but worth it considering how close it is! Greg

To all those travelling to English gigs- QUEENZONE meetings?
I'll be flying into Birmingham from Pittsburgh and arriving early in the morning the day of the show, but anyone who wants to get together that day is welcome to contact me...It'd be fun, and if you've got standing ti...

New Queen DVD in America this September?
I've seen live concert DVDs used as marketing for the next leg of the same tour before...Take the live "Songs of Faith and Devotion" VHS release by Depeche Mode, for instance. That came out when they still had two leg...

Rolling Stone and Freddie Mercury's death
Michael Jackson was on the cover of that issue, unfortunately. And, yes, the article seemed somewhat tabloidish...especially with that horrible tabloid photo included. Rolling Stone has some good writers, but it's rea...

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
Arlene, Incredible you should say that...I graduated from Centennial High School in 1996, and walked across the stage at Merriweather Post for my graduation ceremony! I lived in Columbia for ten years, and must've see...

Brian's Website Discusses United States Tour
I just found something on Brian's website a little more positive, to say the least...This taken from a VH1 interview, apparently...Hopefully recent: **Wed 13 Apr 05** QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS + THREE MONTHS ON THE ROAD =...

On B.M. website -- "Tour Will Land in U.S."
Yes, I'm a high school teacher in the States too, and when I let slip that I'm flying to Birmingham to see them next month, the general consensus among my students was that I'm a lucky bastard (not their exact wording...

Manchester tickets on Ticketmaster again
I can't help but agree...When I bought tickets to see U2, I got through online TWO MINUTES after they went on sale, and the floor admission seats were ALREADY long gone. Impossible, unless they were being held back by...
