Fantastic post, Thunderbolt.
P.S. I don't have the studio version of r'n'r medley - and I'd also love to hear it!!! :-)

I agree with everything you said, Thunderbolt. I never even take part in such discussions. If you think about it, it's all about basic good manners and decency: Say thanks when someone makes a gift, share something back to help out others, keep your word when you made a promise, do not cheat on other people who trust you, do not brag like a little child and make other people unhappy.
I don't have the medley, either:)
And I'll definitely miss Zebonka paving the board with requests for FIA all the time.

Some people will NEVER understand what collecting is all about. If everyone shares everything, it's called communism and trust me, it's no fun.
For me is collecting its real records (masters) not some shity sound files.... & shity mp3s or other sound files should be free.
Such a same people pay money for it & feed bloodsuckers.
LOW level traders i call them.
Well well thats life i suppose. =)

And what's the difference between a bloody record and a bloody MP3? Sometimes the MP3 has a much greater value than the record! But I bet you wouldn't send me your records for free.
The collectors have their hands tied with restrictions. If I give away a demo, I will never get any other demo anymore. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - of you would behave in a different way than I do. You all keep on saying how you would share - how easy it is to say so! Because you don't have any rarity.
Would you all break promises and share rarities with others? Even if it means you would never get any more rarities? No. Listen to how excited all of you get over a 22 seconds sample of Face It Alone. Everybody is dying to hear unreleased recordings. Nobody would risk to break his access to rarities by sharing an MP3 with others.
Fantastic post, Thunderbolt. One of the best ever. I hope it doesn't fall on too many deaf ears.
If I had a boatload of rarities I would have put them out there for every Queen fan to enjoy and not horde it for myself like the greedy little bitches out there (you know who you are.) I wouldn't give a shit who got mad at me, it would be for the good of the Queen fan community not the selfishness of a few.

How beautiful would the world without collectors be... Nobody would have anything because none of the lazy bastards here would be able to get hold of any rarities at all...
I really think some things are private business. I also don't force other people to send me anything, why should I send anything to other people then? In my whole life I have probably downloaded 20 recordings and I have shared probably 20-30 recordings. I really don't think I owe anything to anybody.

Great post, Thunderbolt. You echo my thoughts entirely! :)
The strongest words always seem to come from those who aren't collectors, yet somehow they're experts on the matter.

YV, much as I respect you - anyone would be OUT OF THEIR TREE if they thought I'd stop asking for Face it Alone, even if it gets uploaded in 5.1 Dolby. :)

Belive it or not my friend... it is so! To get this one is not easy, but it is possible. In my eyes a rarity, but nothing special when you hear simular to "Self Made Man". This demo is a lot better!!! An the soundclip is indeed a loop!

some guys here are really strange.
It's a chance for me that I really like other bands with a real sharing community around them and who love of good work. (great remasterings, dvds, etc)
I never understood why Queen fans were so selfish.
Anyway, thank you to CD for this sample.
We'll break those who pretend to be fans & collectors ...
I already see the days after their death when theor little children will find out these records...
" What's that ? I don't know, an old song, you can throw it away... "

There is only one hero that can really make a good riot :P
