Okay, since a lot of people asked for it, and I'm lucky to speak French, here's what Celine Dion and the other said (more or less)

Host: I know, Celine, you wanted to sing that song, it's really meaningful to you.

Host: This song represents Freddie Mercury and Queen's life, its passion, difficulties, and yet a lot of authenticity. It's quite difficult to sing but you guys did well, David?

Christophe: What's beautiful is that she always manages to make people feel confortable around her.

Ok, so we all know Freddie was a fantastic singer. But you can't just go around comparing all artists to Freddie. Queen songs are among some of the hardest to sing - I should know, I've sung them at school concerts. People who have never heard the original Queen version will think that the cover versions are good. We (as Queen fans) know that the covers are crap. But every performer is good in their own way. So you can't technically say that Freddie is the best singer in the whole wide world because no two singers are the same. That is what makes them unique.
However, if you think Freddie was a fantasic singer then that is your opinion. I think Freddie was brilliant at what he did but I'm not going to say that he was the best singer in the whole wide world.

And that is all I have to say on this matter at this moment.

thats just how it is, there are good singers out there BUT when compared to freddie they are nothing. No one had that voice, emotion, energy and range that he had.
