^yeah that's a good one, but that's probably one of my least favorite Journey songs-there are a lot of other good ones, besides the common ones.

Probably one of their finest off probably their best album.

With regard to Open Arms: Yes, that was a great song. It was also a paradox. Jonathan Cain had written the song for the new Babys album. John Waite did NOT like the song. It got ugly. Demands were made. Jonathan left The Babys. He brought his "great song" to Steve Perry and Neal Schon, who crafted into a classic.

It was the success of Open Arms that led Columbia Records to demand more ballads. Steve and Jonathan thought that would be great! Neal did not, and the beginning of an even longer fued would begin. Neal wanted to rock and so did Steve Smith and Ross Valory. CBS, Steve P, and Jonathan did not. Three against three. Neal didn't know about Jonathan's stance until after "the vote". The vote to fire Steve Smith and Ross Valory. Next thing you know, Neal has no one to rock with. The beginning of the end.

It did give us Randy Jackson, though.

I love Journey, Foreigner, and Bon Jovi. :) My mom and aunt are big Journey fans, and they saw them back in 2003 or 2004. I wish I could've gone. :/ But my mom borrowed my bracelet that night, and Steve Augeri grabbed her hand and took it! :DDD Then, he started waving it around and put it on! :DDDDD My mom said it was a great show.
