My sentiments, exactly! Especially regarding Snape! (I just saw it this afternoon).

ETA: If we're lucky enough to get a movie of HP6, there should be WAY more Snape! Yay!

Wait for the next film; that one should be about Snape almost entirely. The book is.

I agree with the Snape comments. Actually I realise the adult cast has years of experience and the kids don't but...this time round I was really aware of the huge gap between the senior and junior cast. Every time Hermione or Harry had a dramatic scene they use just one technique " wide-eyed anguished look with heaving chest" Compare that to Alan Rickman who can convey more emotion with one word and a withering look. Gary Oldman who was so warm and sincere. The other adults were also great and bring a grain of legitimacy to something which, let's face it, would be nothing more than a big-budget hammy school play without them.

Oh, and I agree with your comment about Gary Oldman. I really liked him in this movie.

Luna was precious. I.loved.her. I wanted to give her a big hug.
