That's why Freddie cannot seem to hold a note and also the reason of he singing so low. At this stage of his career, he was developing an ultratomb-like voice. Just imagine trying to sing in key after being several months dead!
Actually, only the bass bit was at Cossford Mill. The rest was done at Star Tiger studios in the Devil's Triangle, where Roger had gone with Colin Fry to materialise Freddie's soul. Colin then travelled to Brazil and, possessed by Bonzo, told Cozy that he wouldn't be alive at the end of the decade. Mr Powell, who was supposed to do a guitar (yes, guitar) solo on 'Assassin', declined because he got depressed after the news.

Thanks for sharing! :)
I thought Freddie died in April 1992 after listening Seal's version for Who Wants To Live Forever at his own Tribute.
Isn't Roger Taylor Duran Duran's drummer?
Is George W. Bush related with George Bush? They look quite similar.

I am writing this down, Sebastian. Many thanks for your -as always- enlightening information. That's what QUEENZone needs: constructive input. Thanks again.
[QUOTENAME]freddie lives wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Well Crezchi,
We do have a sense of humour on QZ, and these days anybody who posts an unreleased demo gets looked at with a bucket full of salt, but posting a 410 mb file is just taking the piss.
I'm so glad that I didn't actually download it as i pay £15 (average of 35euros/$45) a month for broadband with a monthly download/upload limit of 8gb between the hours of 8am and midnight, and your 410mb "joke" is pretty much an eigth of that limit - what a waste that would have been!
The downside matey, is that everyone will view you with suspicion from now on and you've just added yourself to the list of piss takers who think it's funny to post Queen demos that aren't real.
My sense of humour has dried up today.
You talk like you are Mr. Big Shit. lol. I frankly do not give a shit to what you or anyone who wants to talk crap about me, i shared something that i was under the impression was legit, so go blow a tree. As far as suspicion, lol, don't give a shit either, this is a site, i don't live here, but i have never ever uploaded fake anything anywhere including here, so watch it bro. What have you shared to the community except your small comments?

Hearsay, Brian stated numerous times that Assassin sounding or any affiliation to the title track was a myth started by fans. And that assassin turned into Hitman with new lyrics and music.
