The Queen Live Archive List... FINALLY. sorry for the delay

Thank you very much for this list, it's highly appreciated. This is the first time that a representative of QP shares some serious information with the fan base, many thanks.

Any chance of you listing these off? Particularly, those ones that aren't already on video? The three shows in London 78 spring to mind, as well as various 1979 shows, and Los Angeles 1977 (Christmas show).

And tours like the crazy tour and NOTW were some of their best! Imagine a release with the best shows not available on bootleg. Collectors of Queen live would be thrilled(certainly with seventies stuff)!

There's definitely some interesting footage in the list that will hopefully find it's way onto the shelves.

I noticed a few posts on some other topics here stating that the multi tracks were missing for Hammersmith 79. Can I assume that since it is included in the above list that it was just a rumour?

A shame there is no Fort Worth, TX 1977 footage in the vault.

Of course you DO have Marquee 1972. You (Queen Productions) have bought it from Richard Thompson for £2,800 back in 1996 or so...

(Of course it's not excellent stereo quality or something but at least you do have it :-)

Thank you Greg for that wonderful list.. now to build a freakin time machine and go back and film every concert, come back to the present, and SELL all my footage to QP for 1 million dollars each show.. wait, they wouldnt buy it because then its a bootleg.. CRAP.. <throws away the blueprints to the time machine>

Eh...stupid question, but that list is just recordings that are available on VIDEO (not audio), correct?

Thank you so much Mr.Brooks, and thank you for not being discouraged by the ammount of angst towards your person. It is fantasitc that someone from Queen productions is talking with the fans. This is proabably one of the most important things to happen on Queen zone in ages, as Queen were at their best live, and the more live footage from all their tours, would not only be good for fans but anyone that enjoys a good live show, which Queen could certainly put on.

Obviously, you will now have a lot of work to do with all this footage, and perhaps the list may still grow, but would be really good, is perhaps every four to six months, if you could give us an update on how things are going, or whats happening in general, it would be great. The amazing thing with Queen is that the fans really do know so much, but you're the guys who can produce it and put it out for the world to see. And also, it's wonderful to have a connection for the fans to Queen productions, and hopefully the collaboration will continue, as both sides has so much to offer.

things not included in the list: brussels '79, rotterdam '79, munich '78. Greg,QP shuld try and find these recordings. I know there is a great japanese documentary(jewels) with footage from these shows in excellent quality. Other people can say some more about that.I haven't seen it myself but I have seen screenshots, really wonderful!

i am confused as well - is that the live footage on film and video , or some audio stuff is included? (in that case what does it mean we have 2" or in some cases only stereo?). As for Rotterdam 79, Munich 78 and Brussels 79 - the japanese TV received the footage from QP (as reported at that time in 2004!), I wonder why these are not listed. Also what about the 1973 footage in the Killer Queen documentary?

Hi Greg thanks for the info, it’s very much appreciated! I’m quite surprised to see Slane Castle on the list tbh However, because there’s footage of it (even if the footage is only partial) would it mean that there is an audio (soundboard) recording of Slane?

It's my hunch that some vocal overdubs done on the Wembley '86 album may come from the Slane gig.
