As an addition: Golders Green IS available on serious format - apart from the full unedited version which exists as a master - the edited version also exists as a BBC transcription disc LP.
I know this for sure - as I have both the BBC master AND the LP versions - but as far as I am aware - Queen Productions are already aware of this.
So is this a case of BBC copyright - or does QP genuinely not hold a professional copy (or "...Serious format...") of this gig?
If it is truely the case that QP do NOT have a 'master copy', I would certainly offer it up - provided certain caveats were in place.

As with some other psoters, I was under the impression that the original search was centering on VIDEO footage, yet some of the stuff referred to is clearly simply audio? (I presume though that you could be talking about video when you say that only stereo mixes appear, and you have pro shot video but no multi track audio to go with it and only have a final stereo mix made at the time?)
As you say, this also does not include any bootleg film/footage and is only 'quality useable'stuff.
However, would the band consider doing a Led Zep type release using parts of collector's footage to fill gaps etc.., and therefore be able to release a far more substantial and sought after product, or is their quality control (anal retention?!) too high??

I am shocked and stunned that there is so little in the Queen Archive - not so shocked that there is so MUCH from 1984 - 1986 though (even given Brian's denial of the existance of Knebworth) given the profile of the band at that time.
In terms of audio material, is it known whether people like Trip Khalaf have anything that they might have taken directly from the desk and kept hidden in their own archive?
I know for absolutely certain that Bobby Pridden did this for a huge number of shows that The Who played; the famous incident where Pete Townshend burnt ALL the tapes from the Autumn / Winter USA 1969 shows is true to a point - Bob has a number of them sitting there. Much of the soundboard bootlegging over the years could possibly be traced back in that direction. Although the "official" archive is exceptionally bare, there are definitely "quasi-official" archives in exstance that rarely garner a mention.

It is both. I do actually point that out, but maybe not very clearly.
The list of concerts is what we have on audio, be it on 2" multitrack (less common) or steroe tape (most often). but some of them, as you know, have corresponding footage too... of varying formats... often rather poor.
Aside from the audio recordings, you guys already know what we have that corresponds on the footage side - hence my note about Rare Live, Magic Years, MK and Wembley DVD bonus. You know from all that what we have on footage coz it's all been featured in some way or other down the years. We are not sitting on anything major, hence my comment about NOTHING PROFOUND exists to blow you away.
There are a lot of questions about the Europe 79 tapes, fair enoughly, as I expected - this era is my own personal favourite too so I too scrutinise all that stuff very closely... which is what scrutinise means, so I didn't really need to add that!!!! to scrutinise is to look at very closely.
In terms of euro 79 sound, we have a fair bit I'm pleased to say. 13 shows I think. Mostly full shows but that has yet to be confirmed coz we have never played through them all... never had need or reason to.
but rest assured the Live Killers period is well covered AUDIO wise... but far far far less so in footage terms.
