Owwww owwww yes....please respect colours , religions and fair opinions
Borat,

Re your list.

Mmmmmm....really........yes......we believe you, we really do.
Benn
Benn, please say what you want to say, this is what I have, common things known to collectors nothing really special... al the footage is from tv private or sounboard. Which item you don;t believe is in my possession ?
Owwww owwww yes....please respect colours , religions and fair opinions
That list looks good to me. There are a few little flaws, like the length of LA 77 (which is actually Montreal, and should be 12 minutes, as 10 of them are repeated in worse quality), and the dates of Saarbrucken 79 (actually Aug 18) and New Haven 82 (August 10). I have all of the Queen material he mentions, and can confirm that all of that QPR stuff is out there... so I have no reason to doubt him.

Borat, can you tell us about the 2-28-81 soundcheck footage?

Every six months or so I make this question:

Any recording from Q+PR San Diego 2006 that you know of?

I was there, 5th row on Brian's side and right next to the catwalk.

[QUOTE][QUOTENAME]AlexRocks wrote: [/QUOTENAME]So...what? It is good to know this list yet we have no knowledge what out of this list is film or audio which was the point of this discussion. What's the deal here? It was claimed in your original post Mr. Brooks that you all have FORTY audio recordings and yet some of the items on this list are supposedly just audio and not film? Huh?

So what about the Queen reunions that happened in the few years leading up to the "Return Of The Champions World Tour 2005-2006"? How many of these are filmed? http://www.queenconcerts.com/live/queen/postfreddie.html? It sure would be great if the Cowdray Festival was filmed with Roger's guest spots as well. I also hope that there is film with Wynnona Judd and Meat Loaf. Please tell me the Amsterdam festival and the 4664 shows are filmed for crying out loud.

I also have thought to understand Buddapest is filmed from the reunion tour in 2005 and SOME of Hyde Park '05. Does anyone know of any other proffessional film from that tour? I understand that there is the possiblity that some video was recorded from the screen shots at a or some shows. I still can't believe that Queen had a triumphant return to the U.S. with Entertainment Tonight covering (why didn't they film anything?) their first two shows which included Slash guesting on one song and yet nothing was filmed.

The award show featuring Wynnona Judd was filmed for television, but whether the band have bought the rights to the footage is another story. The same goes for other award ceremonies as well.

The Amsterdam show was filmed (obviously!), but is unlikely to be released any time soon, because of obvious mistakes the band made during the performance.

There was indeed a film crew in Budapest in 2005, but they weren't filming the concert. Sure they got some footage of the show, but I would imagine that most of it went into the Budapest documentary. The film crew was really concentrating on the audience.

I'm as mad as HELL, and I'm not going to take this anymore!

Some turned up on youtube not so long ago, but only from a digital camera. I could have filmed it all, got my camera in but decided not to as I managed to get front row at the last minute.
Since Mr. Brooks came back to this site, could he find the time for answering some of the questions ?

Actually, they did issue a promo CD-ROM disc which I believe had some of the songs from that concert, which were fixed up at the time (and the videos were supposedly in Quicktime format). Can't remember much more details beyond that, other than I think it was used as part of promotion for the WWRY musical back then.

Interestingly, none of those files have ever shown up for download anywhere, even the Hub.

Bloody hell!
Where did all that ink come from?!?! :-)
Yes, the CD-ROM was not promo, but indeed a COMMERCIAL release. ...But there was also a PROMO VHS!

Oh really? I wasn't aware.

Actually yeah, I coulda sworn sorta remembering it was probably sold with Heinekin beer, but I couldn't remember that detail exactly, so that's why I went with the assumption it was promo-only.

History likes to fuck with our minds and rewrite itself over time :)
