Musical reporter Carlos Tena then presenter of the show "Popgrama" and now in the radio said in her program "Con mas tena que gloria" in Onda cero Radio that all the concerts shown in Popgrama were recorded entirely...

If they're audience-shot, I can think of one very good reason. Audience-shot footage is rarely of use to any band, as the audio and video are unable to be tweaked enough for an official release (don't quote that Beastie Boys movie as an example of why I'm wrong--they handed expensive video equipment to pre-selected fans for that). From a fan's perspective, audience-shot footage has a place in every band archive because it's generally from shows that were not pro-shot and later released. From the band's perspective, they're not going to make any money off of the fan-shot footage, so why waste vault space on it?

Yeah I never imagined Queen would keep audience-shot footage. But on the other hand, Pink Floyd's "Pulse" DVD has a section called "Bootlegging The Bootleggers" where they take audience-shot footage and sync it with better audio.
And Queen apparently has those 100 best concerts from audience recordings in their archives since they were selling them on their website (are they still doing that?).
I think the original list only includes pro-shot stuff though...otherwise the list would be endless.

I think those were mp3 sourced concerts so they could have taken it from here or from fans.

Yes, indeed, you would think so. As you know, there was a time that for £35 you could write to the BBC and request a video copy of a programme you had missed. In my (then) late-teenage disgust at having missed them at Slane, I wrote - with a pen and paper, folks - to RTE to ask if they had recorded much, and if it were "purchase-able".
They wrote back to say that they had only snippets, and that it wasn't in "a complete programme format; therefore we are unable to assist you at this time." It might be worth giving UTV and the Beeb in the North a call...?

As an addition: Golders Green IS available on serious format - apart from the full unedited version which exists as a master - the edited version also exists as a BBC transcription disc LP.
I know this for sure - as I have both the BBC master AND the LP versions - but as far as I am aware - Queen Productions are already aware of this.
So is this a case of BBC copyright - or does QP genuinely not hold a professional copy (or "...Serious format...") of this gig?

Which also makes me think that what you said some months ago regarding the "state" of any future archive studio release (ie the cupboard is relatively bare) is absolutely spot on. If there's that little in the live archive, it's likely to be mirrored in the studio archive.

Guys, I certainly have no knowledge, insider or otherwise, but I'd be shocked if there isn't much in the archives. Brian has said that he collected sugar packets, menus, etc. from cities he was in while the band was on tour. Part of it I'm sure was to remain grounded while never knowing where you were. The other part is, Brian is a pack rat, and as such, can't see him letting anything of value get away. Since the dawn of recorded music, there is a treasure trove in a successful band's archives. Do you really think that after the success of KQ, then BoRhap that the band didn't realize that they may be huge for a long time? And as a result, don't you think they'd be very careful with their recorded property? I mean if Brian has a list of sugar packets from everywhere he's visited for posterity, I think (hope?) he'd know where the master tapes from ANATO are.

It all depends upon the value that Brian or any of the other members of the band put on material that they recorded but ultimately rejected.
For example, JSS has the Hangman acetate and various other bits and pieces. Official channels have AlWAYS denied that it was ever recorded let alone it's physical existance. This was a song that was played at almost every show from 1971 until 1974 and therefore formed a large part of the material and direction the band was following. The fact that they have no idea of it's whereabouts tells me that they had a lasiaze faire attitude to studio material that was not used for official release.
