Not "probably". He does.

Thank you, Bites The Dust.
1996 Was the year that the unreleased stuff was coming out and since then we have been fobbed off with re-releases of the same old shite.
Fair enough we have had the excellent Video Hits DVD'S and Wembley, but i mean come on QP surely we will get something better before the end of this decade?

It's stated that Queen is the only band who had number 1 hits in the 70', 80's, 90's and the 00's (of this millenium), so in 4 decades in a row. If there is stunning material in the vaults that will give Queen another number 1 hit single, then my guess is it's released after 2010 :-)
Number one hits in 5 decades... there can be only one :-D

One thing that is forgotten with the anthology is that Brian/Roger wish for that to be the final chapter with Queen...therefore when they have finished as Queen, it will be released I guess.
However, if Queen + whoever is not meant to be Queen, or replacing John/Freddie in any way, then surely the anthologies should be released?
Leaving aside sentiment, this is a band who have not released anything new for 12 years and are unable to produce anything brand new. Which leaves us with old concerts, b-sides, demos etc. in the vaults gathering dust. As Queen - the lineup as we know it - are not an active band, just what are the powers at be waiting for?
Regarding the releases since Made In Heaven - I appreciate QP was required to release 6 albums from 1990 onwards by Hollywood Records, but netherless it has been a wasted opportunity.
The release of the complete first night at Wembley in 1986 was excellent, as was Milton Keynes 1982 but other than that what have we had in audio? Numerous compliations and broken promises. (Remember the mooted "Queen At The BBC" cd in 1995? The complete BBC sessions have still yet to be released, 12 years on.)

Um...Queen are recording new material. Hopefully the original 15 studio l.p.s will be expanded to included quite a number of interesting things on them with some unreleased tracks, demos, outtakes, instrumentals, interviews, all of the short promotional films (music videos), 5.1, stereo, and documentary on the making of the album and the project itself. So hopefully something like that would be done in the next few years so there will not be this real long wait and then whatever is left can be used for some box set down the road.

I hate to criticise, but:
1) Queen - the line up as we know it - ceased recording in 1991 and released their final studio album 4 years later.
2) The studio albums have been released and then re-released numerous times already; Hollywood Records included remixes and B-sides as bonus tracks.
3) Nearly every Queen promotional music video has been released already in some form or another - the only two exceptions I can think of are the Top Of The Pops versions of Seven Seas Of Rhye and We Are The Champions promo video.
4) A 5.1 mix of A Night At The Opera has been done already, as has a DVD-A version of that as well as The Game.
5) Brief documentaries concerning the making of the 1980's albums (with interviews) appeared on Greatest Video Hits 2, and was briefly touched upon on the On Fire At The Bowl DVD release.

Details of the studio sessions and out-takes remain secret, not least so as to make the Anthology box set as exciting and surprising as possible... which it DEFINITELY will be, I assure you. But it wouldn't be if everyone already knew details of what exists.
It'll blow your mind one day, honestly.

Well, we know there's a Queen version of Man Made Paradise... as oyu said in the Freddie Box set...
Here's a business proposal for you: I'll give you Belgian beers and chocolate for a listen to ten demos of my choice?
Deal?

Why can't Greg get Brian May on this website and ask him when are we likely to see the Anthology Box Sets released, otherwise we are just going to go over and over the same old topics for years to come.
If he meets the band and/or Jim Beach on a regular basis can one of them make an announcment.
It's not that hard to do for christs sake.

1: John S S. has nothing special in his possion
2: No special (with fred) Queen music will be released, 'cause queen is recording new things with PR.
3 Greg brooks listed a dissapointing list of Queen video recordings...Greg which bits' and pieces are in the archieves ,tell us please
4 I agree the studio should be kept secret untill my unborn son can buy it at a supermarked in 2063 in the same section (and for the same pric as nowadays classical music is sold (30 cd box for 10 euro!))
5 Damn that montreal release...
6 Basje A.: where are your statements of the rubbish you talked about since GB released his list, give us some proof of your lies....hehe

That's rich isn't it? Coming from a complee buffoon such as yourself........?
Darren, re:

Because Brian is master of his own destiny and will do what he wants. Brian has almost certainly read what goes on here in the past and steers well clear due to some of the more colourful characters present. If you were Brian, would you?

If i was Brian May, i would think of the original fans that got him where he is today, money wise
Greg , has given us an audio/video list of material currently in the archives, that's great but will the band sanction these releases, no because it's far easier to keep pressing old favourites such as Hits 1 and 2 which will sell millions every couple of years.
Bands like Motley Crue re-issued all their back catalogue a couple of years ago and bolstered them with unreleased tracks/demoes etc.Fucking Brilliant, but will Queen,no, not while their Bank Manager Jim Beach is still involved
What would you like to see released then?
Surely not another Hits Album.
I know we can't force them to release anything, but it would be great to see something announced for christmas at least!

Just out of curiousity, just what have Queen released and re-released these past ten years? This is by no means a dig at anyone, but merely a question of curiousity from someone not in the know.
In no order. I am sure I am missing some.
