Dark side of the Moon and The Wall are timeless classic concept albums. Not even would Queen bother to do something like that (they could, but preferred not to, I guess) because they had a different style. Queen II is the closest they got, I think.
Listen to those Pink Floyd albums and tell me that they are uninspired and lack emotion. There is more feeling in the opening chord of "In the Flesh" than on all your band's songs. And that is a FACT!
Every individual song might not be Bohemian Rhapsody but the whole is much greater that the sum of its parts.
I feel sorry for you if you don't get emotion from any of those recordings.
I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it. It's not "disposable pop" like Queen's 80s output, so you have to really LISTEN to it.
Watching brief YouTube clips predisposed not to like them is not the way to get to know an artist.

Now that I think about it, this could be a very good learning experience for TreasureMoment.
Hope he can make the most of it, although it seems unlikely :S.

What I find mind-boggling is that TM, you will post your song on here, obviously looking for opinions about it, and get all defensive when we give you our REAL opinions.... I mean, what do you expect, for everyone to say "It's great!" "I loved it!" and whatnot? D:
ok.... so you CRITISIZE all the music thats released today because its short three chord crap, soul-less, repetitive, no emotion....
then you listen to a piece of genius from pink floyd and call it stale?! PROOF if ever it were needed that you really have NO IDEA what you're on about!
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2v240bYbbrM
check out this video.... the song's called "on the turning away". if you say this lacks emotion then you're a bigger fucking retard than I first thought!
Its unbelievable.... pink floyd.... STALE??! makes me wanna hunt you down and plunge my thumbs into your eye sockets until you admit how rubbish and wrong you are.

I dunno guys, you must be really bored Cookies, Brian-Harold-May (sp?) and Treasure Moment especially. The only reason this thread reached 4 freakin' pages is because you guys had to keep a stupid arguement going for much longer than it needed to. It stopped being funny around the eighth page of the last 10 page thread. Just cut it out. You know whatever you say will just get TM riled up. This doesn't need to happen again.
And for Treasure Moment, even though you like to speak your mind and make sure people know that you feel they are wrong (whether they are or not), it isn't necessary and it makes you look like an almighty twit. Even if you do make a valid arguement about something in the future no one is going to take you seriously unless you stop doing this. Just settle down for a little while.
Just so I don't feel guilty about filling a whole post with a long-winded rant, I'll post an honest review of the song that isn't too rude. I for one actually enjoy techno from time to time, but I feel that the song shouldn't continue as a techno song. I feel you (and/or the band) released the song too early, and that you should have developed it a bit more. You have a catchy melody in the song that could possibly be incorporated into a more rock-y song. As for the whole song, in all honestly, it was a bit repetitive. But that all ties into the fact that you put out the song before you could really develop it. Just throwing in my 2 cents, but you should keep working on it. Preforably as a rock song.
