I'm sorry, I'd rather be "safe" in jail than be sent to the war. If we're all living in "free" countries, why do we have to risk our lives when sometimes we don't even agree with our country's arguments to justify the war...?

and 2 - i never meant they should MAKE people go to war, but those who wouldn't.... let's just say

I can imagine Italy, Germany and the USSR torturing people who refused to fight... But UK, France and the US weren't very likely to do that, were they? Besides, you said it yourself... With the PRETEXT that they are for my own safety and interest...

See the Iraq war, for example. How many American soldiers have been killed until now, and how many civil Americans were killed in their own territory by Iraqis? That war definitely hasn't improved "safety" in America. And we can't forget the attacks in Madrid and London could have never happened if those countries hadn't joined the war.

I don't care what other people would think of me. My wife and children mean more to me than "my people". Why should I die and leave my wife and children crying at home to save a bunch of idiots whose lives I don't give a fuck for?

I'm sorry, but you all can make a very low profile of me if you wish, but I really refuse to be in a war. Maybe it's not likely that a whole country would follow me, but hey, I think people like me are growing in number.

Each country has a professional army. People who get paid to defend the country. If the government wants a war, fine, send them. If they all die, the war is lost, period.

If there are civil people who want to die for their countries, good, but not ALL civil people are like that.
