No, I didn't say it was only you who thought Queen were the best band. They are my favorite band, you know? but I acknowledge that as my own personal taste.
I said that you are the only one pretentious enough to think that your personal opinion is FACT, particularly if this refers to saying U2 is crap.
Just remember that for every "best band ever" poll that Queen wins "with a staggering 40% of the votes!", there is 60% of the people that thought otherwise. And these numbers are based on people's opinions, probably the same people you diss for having an opinion different than your own.

Live Aid being voted as best performance ever is just weird enough already.. cause Queen did better shows.
Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and so on, were a huge influence for Queen, so without those bands, music of Queen could've and would've been totally different.
When will people see that there isn't a "greatest band of all time". Just start to enjoy all the bands that made good music and leave the bands you don't like for what it is.
Queen is just a band you can enjoy listening to, but I respect the opinion of others if they say they don't like Queen for their music (when they say they don't like it because Freddie was gay, then I might discuss with them).
Music is about taste and thank god many people have different tastes.
