I'm always touched and shocked by the power and beauty of queen music from the 1970s, especially from their early tours. I cannot belive how great musicians they were in those glory days and listening to this samples I'm just out of words. Please share this precious jewel with us.

That's what surprised me too.. And Seven Seas Of Rhye in 1976 is quite unique I think.

Yeah!!! me too. I only thought that they played "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" at some of the Japan 1976 dates only? I could be wrong though?

It's on the New York recording, but not the Milwaukee recording from a month later. So perhaps they dropped it part way through the tour because it wasn't getting good feedback from their audiences...? It's hard to tell with so few recordings available!

Great sound! Finally a clean version of "Lazing on a ...". Do they play Hangman on this one? It would be great.

The total length of the recording is 82 mins.

Sheer conjecture but the inclusion of "Seven" might have to do with the band missing their 1st show in Boston supporting Mott due to Brian coming down with hepatitus.

Having worked with a number of bands doing lighting - bands would throw in some different songs into a set on a given night as they too get bored with playing the same cookie-cutter set each night.

Lazing on a sunday was played also in New York, Beacon Theater the 6th february 1976
