Eminence Front.

I don't even like the song, I just thought I'd throw it in the ring to see what happens. Haw-haw.
Satisfaction.

you mean freddies riff.
^I was just talking with my friend few days ago about this. I said that Freddie wrote whole thing, but he said that Freddie wrote lyrics, notes for the piano, but that Brian wote notes for guitar solo.
I'm sick of all my kicks.

voodoo chile has to be my favotire :) first time i heard it i was amazed at how catchy and awesome it was!
why pay the visit when the visit is free? "this shitty guitar wont play what i want! it only knows three chords!"
Agree with a lot of the posts made here, so I thought I'd throw in a few lesser known tracks that I find tremendously addictive.

The Shooting Company of Captain Frans B. Cocq - Ayreon

Welcome Home - Coheed & Cambria

The Sun Never Sweats - Spinal Tap

And, one slightly more well-known (and admittedly overplayed) riff:

Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas
Metallica - One
Queen - Tie Your Mother Down
Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker
Jimi Hendrix - Star Spangled Banner
The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Eric Clapton - Layla
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Just to name a few.

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
The March Of The Black Queen - Queen
Love Her Madly - The Doors

Those 3 are really awesome!!

Cheers
Are we talking about guitar riffs, or guitar solos?
Some people have mentioned great guitar solos, which are not particularly the same as the few chords that make an iconic guitar riff.

I'd have to pick

Aqualung - Jethro Tull
E-Pro - Beck
You Really Got Me - The Kinks
Brain Stew - Green Day
Paradise City - Guns N' Roses
Iron Man - Black Sabbath
Again - Alice In Chains
Master Of Puppets - Metallica
Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name
Are You Gonna Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin
Aenima - Tool
Hysteria - Muse
Walk - Pantera
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Vertigo - U2
Back In Black - AC/DC
Seven Nation Army - White Stripes
