Hmm......so both Rainbow shows were thought of as possible releases....(excuse me, the other Rainbow show WAS released!).....I cant think of it now, but wasnt there one other Queen show that was intended to be officially released but never was? Earls Court was it? Ah, what coulda been...

Just listening to this first part of this now....the sound is awesome! I love bootlegs in which you can clearly hear the bass guitar and drums :)

Just a technical note... this definitely isn't a bootleg. It's very close to the master tape. It's a bootleg when it's pressed onto CD by a company and sold for profit. Bootlegs, RoIOs, pirates, and counterfeits are all very different things. :)

So what is this, to be precise ? RoIo ?

Indeed! Any concert or studio recording not released by the band or a bootleg label is a RoIO (recording of indeterminate origin)... the only exceptions being pirates and counterfeits of the official releases.

I've been turning the internet inside out looking for the march 1974 concert (like a needle in a haystack) untill a collector pointed me towards Queenzone (thanx!).

I had this concert on vinyl a long time ago, LP named Sheetkeeckers, probably released 1975/1976, along with A Night At The Opera, or at least that's when I found and bought it at the local record store (back then bootleg LP's were all over the place here, usually in a white cartboard sleeve, wrapped in plastic together with bad print on a one-color paper sheet lol).

Unfortunately I lost almost all my vinyl over the years. I did manage to 'get' the recordings from N*pster when it was still free, but quality was poor and got even worse when I had to recover the files after a harddisk crash.

I consider this to be the mother of all bootlegs and the heaviest (good quality) Queen recording ever. Here is where the (already asked) question pops up; is there any artwork available for this concert/CD/tape/whatever? I'd be much obliged, not planning on pressing my own CD's, I'm just a Sucker For Sheetkeeckers, and other early 70's (good quality) material of course ;o)

Since this isn't a bootleg release, it's best that we don't create artwork for it, so that it's not misinterpreted as being a bootleg release.

However, this recording was bootlegged as "Majestic Rock" by Wardour, and it sounds virtually identical to this. Unfortunately I haven't found high-res artwork for that release.
