Nothing like footage of a terminally ill man to kick off a stadium tour, eh?
Actually; I do wish Queen hadn't had such a hateful attitude towards documentary footage. The Making of One Vision stuff in particular is kind of disappointing to watch, when you consider how much they hated the cameras being there.
Having said that; I do wonder why on earth they let cameras into the studio for that Innuendo EPK stuff. Talk about putting on a brave face.

as a song-writer, i think you need to re-evaluate your own definition of "awesome"...

I know of a really awesome film shot in 1963 by a guy called Zapruder. So awesome.
No by awesome i think he means that its deep stuff , the man in his final months performing such amazing things. Seeing that on tape is incredible, sad and amazing all in one.

I think where the dignity comes in is that he did not give up, and, despite his physical condition, pressed forward, determined to keep making music.
That being said, I do not enjoy seeing him, in that condtion. It is just so very sad, and, painful to watch. I'd rather just listen to the result of his struggles.

Doesnt matter that he was vanishing in physical form , its the ultimate performance that he gave that makes him go out on top. Especially in the condition he was in.
