Hi Mike!
I did enjoy your cover, especially the guitars. Very good playing and killer Brian May tone!
I think the drums are programmed pretty well. From a mix perspective, I think the drums sound brighter and cleaner than the guitars which causes the mix not to 'gel' as well as it could.
Ideally, it would help to get a bit more polish from the guitar tracks (soundwise, not performance wise!).
As far as vocals, it's a tough job to sing a Queen song!
But if you want... and this is a sincere offer which you can refuse without hurting my feelings in any way... I would love to sing that one myself over your backing track. I do a passable 'freddie' lead generally. You can listen to my covers on the stage of champions for reference.
Best,
Aric

I'd like to counter that offer from Aric and also put myself forward, IF...this is even a consideration. I'll put up an example of what it could be like at the end of Sunday. I've got a panto show rehearsal tomorrow so I'm gonna be away a long time. But I will try and keep my promise of a demo/example file.

Wow Mike your sparking some offers of collaberation! Soon yer gonna have all of Queenzone wanting to sing on yer backing tracks! Ive been making records since the early eighties.. These days i mostly master records. Ill offer up a nice big thick Queen sounding mix and master it for you guys if ya wanna take it that far.

I'm flattered by the offers, I think?
Definitely be flattered if Adam is offering an improvement rather than just criticism (constructive or otherwise.)
Hey Mike.. shoot me an email with your address. I have something you may be interested to hear!

Well, a little late, but I did find some time to run through it. So, here's an attempt - http://www.mediafire.com/?3uzy3svla0v
Pretty tired after today though, but still, not bad. Little patchy in places though.
