I feel they are really doing the wrong thing here. They will find it very hard to come back with something if this goes flat on its arse which it probably will. Was a nice taster of things to come, not THE thing to come.

I'm almost certain there will be a proper QPR single when the album is ready but, as Brian and Roger have said several times (yet most have missed), the album isn't ready yet, so 'Say It's Not True' isn't being used as a taster for the new album.

I understand where your coming from but in an ideal situation I would have waited to release a proper single and brought something rock and in your face out with a Queen video. The download was a great idea but this is what I find a bit daft.

I like that idea too, but only when QPR are ready to release their album will that make any sense. Seeing that this is all for charity, I find that the video is perfect for the occasion, and the idea of releasing Say It's Not True as a physical product to raise money and awareness for charity is an even better idea.

I agree, but it just would have been nice to have been blown away by the 'Comeback'. Not watching a video which even though fits the 46664 theme wont get any airplay.

eil.com is listing it as having only the audio track and a CD-ROM track (I assume of the video), and nothing else. So if that's accurate, its just the song and nothing but.
I'd also like to remark on the amazing clarity of thought displayed by Mr. Burnham. This single is about the charity and the disease first, and any good publicity that comes out of it second. It most certainly is not a "comeback" release, and considering that the band just completed a world tour a year ago, I'm not sure what they have to "come back" from. The tour was the "comeback" - from 20 years of not touring amd 15 years of "maybe we're a band, maybe we're not". The album and subsequent tour-to-come are the delivering-you-the-goods-that-we-warmed-you-up-for-by-going-on-tour-last-year-and-the-year-before. "Comebacks" are for people and bands that had spectacular failures or horrible disasters that require they lay low for x number of years before re-emerging from the failure/disaster. The QPR album is a continuation of the successful collaboration that the tour represented; I don't consider it a "comeback" in the traditional showbiz sense, anymore than the next Spielberg movie is a "comeback", since he hasn't really gone anywhere - he's just continuing to do what he does. QPR haven't really gone anywhere either.

I think it's great news. A quality version for purchase and for a great cause. If you have doubts, don't buy it. Simple as that.
