This "Every wikipedia" doesn't sound too reliable source to me. I just can't believe he was able to sing at that point anymore. Waiting for more evidence...

He was wheelchair bounded at that time i believe.
But also in that book of jim says clearly,That 2 weeks before his death he completed a winters tale and he recorded the 4days after it mother love.

Don´t forget that he got "The show must go on" in one take. Increible achivement. A winters tale as well. So, I don´t think it´s impossible that he might have sung it two weeks prior his death. Though, I don´t really know.
DId he realy sang the show must go on in 1 take?
How was it with the videoclips back then?
Ive heard that he recordede all the video,s in 1 take.

'A Winter's Tale' wasn't done on one take, since the last verse was done separately (after the 'Mother Love' middle-eight)
What do you mean sebastian middle eight?
When are you gonna think about an MIH section on your site?
When are you gonna think about an MIH section on your site?
In a nutshell the term middle 8 is as follows, I'll keep it simple alas
The Middle eight bars of music were used in many popular tunes to provide a break or ‘bridge’ between repetitions of the chorus and verses. In this way originality was introduced to the melody and this often became the most memorable part of the song
So in Mother Love when the lyrics get to
"I've walked too long in this lonely lane
I've had enough of this same old game
I'm a man of the world and they say I'm strong
But my heart is heavy and my hope is gone
Out in the city, in the cold world outside
I don't want pity, just safe place to hide
Mama please, let me back inside"
When Freddie reached that incredible high note, hope it helps.
ps who ever told me to go away, i wont & i stick by what i said

Yeh just thought I would mention that apparently when Freddie went up to sing in the studio he took shots of Vodka to relieve the pain and get him through it...so I'm told...could be wrong though.
