I'm very ill right now with a bad fever. My throat hurts so much I can't eat much except soup. It hurts just to drink water, and it's not just the upper part of my throat, it goes down into my stomach and it hurts. My Ears hurt badly too, and they are ringing at times. My glands are very swollen.
I'm here alone as Jessica and Gavyn went to Massachusetts to visit her family.
I have a feeling I'm severly sick and might die. Haven't ate for a couple days. I'm dehydrated too because it hurts too much to drink water.

Yeah, I should make my will out today, where do I go to do that? I can't wait until tomorrow of course.

youll be fine. no need for drama.
i remember when i had pneumonia, i thought for sure i was dying. noone was helping me, and i was too weak to get up at all. my stomach hurt so bad, my throat hurt and was useless, i had no voice (i think this had given me long term issues) they thought i had appendicitis, let alone ignoring my issues with my lungs. i coughed up blooed and gross stuff, my fever was 104 degrees. i was dehydrated, hungry, but couldnt swallow. i shouldve gone to the hospital.
but i lived.
feeling your body deteriorate is frigthening. if its bad enough, then go to the hospital. but i highly doubt youre dying. try antibiotics! :-p

What's that all about everyone having fever? I haven't been sick for a long, long time. But I woke up today with terrible pain, I feel like someone kicked my ass last night with a baseball bat...too much wine, no aspirin :P
^ wine is bad for kids! :P
and Jake, just calm down and find some distractions that would make you laugh more. Laughter is one heck of a cure! ;)

The water thing is very important. You can live without food for awhile but try to sip some water very slowly if you have to. Sucking on some ice might be a good idea too if you can do that at least.
If you really feel bad enough you can always go to the hospital, unless you have insurance and then you might get turned away if you go to the wrong place, according to Michael Moore. I have no insurance and I've never been turned away. It's better to ruin your credit than die, I say.
Good luck.

Yeah I just deal with 'sliding scale' doctors where you pay based on income, and if I'm sick enough, the ER is where I go. Maybe it's different in other places but I believe it's policy here that you can't be turned away if you're seriously in need of care.
Then I get the bills, ignore them and my credit gets worse, but it was already fucked years ago so I could care less. :)

I think I saw something similar to this on an episode of Scrubs a few days ago. Try taking as many painkillers as possible in one dose and try to get a good night's rest. If you do wake up the next morning and still feel feverish, you should get into a warm bath with an electric hair-dryer. It acts like a jacuzzi and will help ease your aching muscles. It could also be a build up of pressure in your sinuses. This can be relieved by putting a loaded gun in your mouth and pulling the trigger. Most importantly try to get as much fresh air as possible. A good way to get a lot of oxygen into your lungs in a short space of time is to jump off a tall building with your mouth open.
If the symptoms persist, consult someone who gives a flying fuck.
The real problem is that you're feeling sorry for yourself because that poor little sod who sprang forth from your loins is getting more attention than you are at the moment. Get used to it you fucking idiot.
fatty.
