Of course I'm not dead. I'm trying to make a doctor's appointment but they are filled for a few days or something. I woke up with a temp of 102.4 today, and I had to go snowplowing which made me feel worse. I still can't eat. When I'm not plowing, I'm sleeping like a cat... an hour here, then awake, two hours there, then awake. It's fucking up my schedule.
I HOPE GAVYN DOES NOT GET THIS! I haven't held him since I've been sick, because this is a horrible flu, and I don't want him to get it, as he's only a month old.

You're most certainly allowed to post but if I had even the slightest symptoms that you are saying you have I would be farthest away from my pc and in my bed resting and trying to keep down fluids. Also if I had a doctor that turned me away when I called and said I needed to be seen, I'd switch doctors. If you've got the flu though all you need is as much fluids as you can handle, rest, and some tylenol or motrin for your fever, although sometimes I think keeping a slight fever is good for the illness, it's your body fighting it off. You can only treat the symptoms for the flu, a doctor can't do anything for it unless you become dehydrated.
So, step away from the computer and rest. I hope you feel better soon.

I am spending most of my time on bed, and about 20 minutes on the computer.
The doctor said If I'm not better by Wednesday, then she'd like me to go to the doctors. She said drink plenty of water and take Tylenol every six hours, which I've been doing.
I went to sleep around 2:30 this afternoon and I actually managed to eat something, but I ended up puking. I think I'm probably not drinking enough either, because it hurts so much to even drink something.
