Geez, who gives a fuck who was more important between Heath Ledger and Steve Irwin. Both were very important personalities in their own field.
Makes me fuckin' wish it was Lindsay Lohan who kicked the bucket from an overdose. She's the one who's been playing with fire for a long time, and she's a horrendously bad actress. It wouldn't be such a big loss except to anyone except to the tabloid press.

Sorry to hear that.
Hope he's resting in peace.

I don't wish the death to anyone, but there are people who has been playing with fire for a long while like Lindsay, Amy and Britney... they should see these things and realize that's how they will end.

Steve Irwin was a terrorist to the animal kingdom. Then again, I'm not surprised that he found such mass appeal with the lowest common denominator.
Steve Irwin was a noted environmentalist and conservationalist. While his hands on approach may seem rather coarse, he was hardly a terrorist, and had always put the interests of the animals to the forefront. He did the best job of anybody to expose a broad range of people to wildlife (many for the first time), as well as many conservationalist causes.
All Heath Ledger did was act in movies. If you take away the pretty face, I could find you a million actors that could do just as well. Oh, how society finds the strangest people to idolize...it is beyond me.
Steve Irwin died in a routine swim with a stingray, under the direction of professionals, doing what he loved and did best. Heath Ledger died nude on the floor - possibly...most likely due to his own stupidity and selfishness.
The autopsy report has came back as "inconclusive" as to the cause of his death.

On the subject of the late Steve irwin, my guess is that any crocodile's life would be improved by a thumb up their bum.
I almost cried when I heard about this. Very tragic and depressing.
Prayers to pittrek and janet.. may your loved ones rest in peace. I remember when my favorite beloved aunt's life was cut short by cancer. I was so shocked and there were a mixture of feelings and confusion. I can only tell you that it's a horrible experience when someone dies. No one ever told me it was ok to be sad, but it is. I learned that you can mourn, but not forever. It's going to take time, but you have people to help you cope. Including me :)
janet i am sorry to hear about your loss
let me know if there is anything i can do for you
i am also sorry to hear of your loss pittrek

i am also sorry to hear of your loss pittrek
do u think the selling of his movies his going to increase?
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words, StoneColdClassicQueen.
Thank you Paul, you're very sweet. Got through the "hard stuff" alright (funeral and such), now its just the living of everyday life without him, you know? One day at a time, I guess...

Not to be callous, but I actually had money on Amy Winehouse. She can't last more than a year the way she's going.

Animals aren't like us, man... they have completely different standards of body language and personal space. He pestered the things for a living, and of course he made millions out of it... it's lightweight, amusing television to watch what is essentially a big kid play with animals.
But I refuse to accept the idea that he was a pioneer in animal-related television, because he wasn't. I don't even have to bring up David Attenborough because we already had better viewing in Australia with Harry Butler.

Good actors are not as difficult to come by as one would think. It is society's obsession with looks that keeps most of them from the top.
There are plenty of dodgy actors with busted faces. But on the whole you're right about the obsession with looks thing.
Anyway. Enough derailing from me.

i was truly shocked when i heard this. i loved him, he was awesome in 'a knights tale'.
so young, so beautiful, so talented, so undeserved.
i really hoped it was a sick joke. my best wishes to his family, and especially that little girl of his.
as for janet and pittrek, my sincere best wishes to you.

My opinion...
To Janet and pittek... I feel really sorry for you two. I hope you two are doing fine and going strong soon. Give them a nice place in your hearts!
