Not a proper Queen album

Yes, its a posthumus album, but that was the intention with out choice, so part of it was formed as a unit, some material ended upo being polished ect ect...[/QUOTE]
i'm sorry but i disagree - MIH is primarily Bri's album...most of it has HIS stamp all over it..Yes the intention was there to make a queen album, and yes it had Freddie's blessing, but it DIDN'T have Freddie's input into the final sounds/mix/production...
also, from what i recall John more or less "tagged along" - his heart wasn't in it, and Rog had lots of "other stuff" going on in his life at that time...so it was REALLY a Brian May controlled output - ffs - there's guitars all over the Freddie solo stuff - some of it - IWBTLY and MIH sound awful for the changes made

Yes michael you are right about that it was john and roger who first moote about getting the project underway and only when brian heard what they had done was when he got involved.

Apparaently they were going nowhere fast until brian came long and more or less took over production, and in my opinion MIH and IWBTLY sound much better with bri's guitars on it making it sound like queen which was obviously the intention.

Not exactly correct, but close. Brian the following in an interview with Q Magazine in 1998.

"Right up until the end Freddie asked me for lyrics and music that he could work on, and he was adamant that this material should be released. After he died, my way of dealing with it was to go out on tour. But Roger and John became very impatient with me and started working on the tapes. I didn't want this stuff to go out without my involvement, so I took the tapes off them, felt that they'd done it wrong and spent months putting it all back together. Doing Made In Heaven was like assembling a jigsaw puzzle, and I'm sorry if this guy feels uneasy about it, but I wouldn't have put my seal of approval on it if I hadn't thought it was up to standard."

I'd say The Miracle and Innuendo. They aren't proper albums, Freddie put zero effort in... he was lazy around the studio, only showing up when he felt like it.
