Now THAT is interesting. But I respect it.

1. A kind of magic- only 5 good songs.
2. The miracle- Only a few great ones
3. The works- pretty good, but Inconsistent.
4. Flash- Doesn't count as a real Album.
5. Made in heaven or hot space, Not sure which I like better. both are pretty good, But I always had the feeling hot space could have been great.

I like things people can dance to. I love Queen II, but I love Hot Space even more. Really catchy songs on that album. I don't think music needs to be 'sophisticated' to be great.
"Please buy my upcoming album... I need the money"
Their worst album will be their next one
Is there any Queen fans in here?
It´s better to burn out than to fade away.
the best album is news of the world or a night at the opera, the worst is hot space
I would't speak of a worst album, but the one I play the least : The Miracle.
Flash Gordon doesn't count I think.
We must all see to believe...

1. Flash Gordon (if you count it)
2. Miracle
3. Hot Space
4. A Kind of Magic
5. Jazz

Miracle?!?! Kind of Magic???!?!?

ARE YOU MAD????

I would say Hot Space contains least fantastic songs, but still it's not bad.

You know you really shocked me, especially with your "Miracle" choice.

Despite some of Brian's killer guitar riffs, The Miracle is kind of dry throughout. For some of us, although it may not be the case for you, the album is way too pop oriented and contains too little experimentation. Mind you, I don't think it's one of their worst, but I just wanted to point out that there is reason to feel it's not up to par with their other works.

I heard freddie wasn't over the moon for the miracle either. I think roger's weak drumming is what makes some of these songs worse. The album does have some gems. "Was it all worth it" was one of their best songs. The title track is another great one.
Flash Gorden album. Bores me to death. :]
I've seen this post atleast 10 times since i've been a member.....Face it FLASH GORDON will always win this one...

I find this album to be absolutely boring & uninspired. It contains two of their all time worst songs “Pain is so close to pleasure & “One year of love”
They couldn’t even make up their mind whether this should have been a soundtrack or not. At least with “Hot space” they tried something different, but here they simply went through the motions and ended up sounding like any other Euro-trash-Synth-Band of that era. This album is a complete embarrassment. Even the cover art is a joke!

Don't think its the worst but I'll definetley agree with you on that Cover Art...Glad to see somebody else say it....LoL

The Flash Gordon album would've been better if they hadn't included all those stupid sound bytes from the movie. I personally hate it - what they should've done is at least made the effort to make each distinct track into a full length song.
Another thing that pisses me off about the album - it exposes the fact that for most of the film, it's the same damn music going again and again.
It's especially annoying when you can hear the odd good idea coming through from Brian.
So yeah, Flash Gordon is a big disappointment, but by the same token - I never expected much, it was just a soundtrack album. The music is a lot more enjoyable when it's played with the movie.

The worst 'actual' album would have to be A Kind of Magic. The Highlander songs are okay, for the most part, but UGH.. I really would like to forget that Pain Is So Close to Pleasure existed at all. I didn't even know it was Queen the first time I heard it.
I think Hot Space is better than Flash Gordon, but there's a couple of cool songs on Flash too, like Football Fight.

I like to play "Skate." on XBOX and listen to the Flash Gordon album :)

Hot Space is great "doing the dishes-music".

But A Kind of Magic is not so great. But Pain is so close to pleasure are funny...

News of the World - I don't listen to it so much anymore, but there are some nice songs there.
