Hello,Buenos Noches,Bonjour,to all, I reside in the U.S.,and I would love to finally get,Houston,Hyde Park and Hammersmith '75 on DVD.I do have the Kampuchea show on disc,which I would be happy to pass on a copy.Only thing is my access to a burner is quite sporadic.Otherwise I would have downloaded these shows by now.It would be awesome to finally get some good quality DVD's of these shows.Drop me a line.thanks,

While Farouk has received the DVDs and has opened his own thread, the Dutch package has not yet arrived after over 2 weeks. Does anyone come to the Queen Party in Waalre this Saturday? Otherwise I have to resend it.

Today I resent the DVDs to dsmeer after the 1st package was lost. Let's hope it arrives soon.

WOW, i'm next to DSMEER and looking forward to receive the DVDs. Who's was next to me ?

Hammersmith Odeon 1979 (Concert for Kampuchea, isn't it?) is my all time favorite. It's the most precious concert by Queen, to my mind. Freddie's technique was in an all-time high and he was not pushing his voice so hard as he'd do later during the Game and Hot Space tours, which are amazing - some of the best Freddie's performances come from these tours - but a little bit over-the-top as far as singing is concerned. I liked it when Freddie was more restrained and didn't push his voice so hard. Back in Oden, 1979, he payed a lot of attention to his breathing and his posture. He got some very good effects without straining his vocal folds so much, as he'd do later - which, again, was great but ruined his voice - three or four years singing like that, without a break, would have inevitably, by itself, ruined his vocal muscles. Ok, he was a rock-and-roll start - he had to push very far and even shout - and that means he had to sing to huge audiences and maintain a very busy schedule. It's no wonder he collapsed. But that's an alltogether different story because he did manage to come back, sort of.

Well, just tell me who I have to kill. ;-)
