At first I didn't like to see they were gonna do a cover.

But then, like someone said, let's hear it first. Who cares that it's a cover? Brian has already recorded covers, Roger has already recorded covers (and if you want the truth, I like his version of Working Class Hero better than the original), FREDDIE has already recorded covers.

They're very experienced musicians. They've got a few decades of experience both on the road and in the studio. So let's give them a chance to try whatever they want, I'm pretty sure they know more than we do.
We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Universe rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin'! We got the Cosmos rockin' to the mighty power of rock'n'roll!
Back to the original subject though, I am really hopefull that our UK friends will record this properly :)

May I suggest not only a DVD version of the entire appearance, but a direct wav to flac recording of the song itself.. please? I'm sure many would appreciate this.

:)

It'd also be splendid if you guys could just post it on Youtube.

"One of these tracks, C-lebrity, will receive a sneak preview when the band make a by-demand return to the UK’s ITV Al Murray’s Happy Hour for the final show on April 4. "

It also mentions that "Say It's Not True" will be on the new album. There will also be a cover version on the new album, although it the press release does not mention what it is.[/QUOTE]

I'm bound to be
C-lebrity
So plain to see
It's my destiny
Oh can't you see
Look at mee...
C-lebrity

No, that's not a sneak preview of the lyrics, I HOPE!

LOL "love" will be in, for sure, that is, if Paul has something to do with it.

I'm personally willing to bet that it'll be either "Jailhouse Rock" or "All Right Now".

At the very worst, they could cover a new song, like "Gimme More" *cough*

I'll bet you all your Pokemon cards that it's Red House.

I'll take that bet. What stakes are you willing to commit to?

You want my shiny Charizard if I lose? :P

Btw. that was such a blast, the Vancouver show. Brandon (I think) mistakenly told me during the song then that it was 'Muddy Water Blues', but I wasn't familiar with either song either way.
Was great to hear a blues song during that show though :D

Hmm...

I'd say a donation of $50 US or more to the 46664 charity cause :)

Would you include "Gimme More" as part of the bet, even though I meant it as a joke? :P
I don't take anything you say seriously, anyway.
Can anyone please record this TV performance to VHS tape or DVD for the must-have-everything-on- video people? Thanks in advance :)
I do not want any google ads here.
