Awesome song i like it catchy song chorus is inmy head already and the riff is great too paul sounds fantatic and the band are back.
Could be a hit in my opinion.

The background vocals are for sure.. I can hear Brian, yet he doesn't even bother to go to a mic. And Roger seems to be backing track with effects left channel, and live vocal right channel :)

That was my first impression as well... It's a Cross songs with Paul Rodgers on vocals. We all know what a huge seller Cross was, so that tells us about the song's hit potential. :/
Based on this I would buy the album eventually, but like the Cross albums, it would be only to complete the solo collection, not for listening. :I

Well ofcourse it's not a new Innuendo, Prophet's Song or Black Queen. But it's a lot better than The Call, Invincible Hope, SINT or any of the stuff on the last solo albums IMO (except maybe Business/Another World).

In other words it's not particularily good, but at least it isn't the absolutely worst thing they've written?
I don't know about you, but for me that wouldn't be a good starting point for a five month wait of the new tour/album. :/

Well Heaven For Everyone was a The Cross song that didn't sell well, but when recorded by Queen was a massive hit in the charts.
I liked the song - I'm still not a great PR fan as he tends to be one of those singers who never sings a song the same twice, and tends to jam around the tune which, whilst being artistically liberating, doesn't help when trying to get into a song! I wonder how they decide on a final take for the studio versions of songs when he delivers stuff differently each time!
I'm betting that the song will get picked up and played on all sorts of things like Big Brother etc... over their compilation bits etc... very clever marketing if you ask me.
Definitely a Roger type song lyrically, and tunewise in the chorus. Surprisingly modern sounding, and actually doesn't sound much like anything else at first listen (although reminded me a bit of Thunder??)

They looked like DW rack toms in my opinion, could be wrong though. Yeah bass drum and floor toms look like they are from the previous kit.

Liked song, though agree with Serry, I prefer Roger's natural singing voice than the "People on Streets" layered effect.

Has Roger's writing written all over - obvious by the chorus and Roger singing - but written with Paul in mind I think! I like it - rockier than I expected. An absolute certainty to be played on the tour!!! I wouldn't call it dark somehow but very Roger as you say!
Cracking opener to the set maybe. I'm sure I heard a till/cash register at the end of the number!!

not at all what i expected, i can see what brian meant when he said it sounds "new". its a nice enough tune, really good riff and an all right chorus. but it didnt do it for me really. maybe its a grower, but lets hope they have some better and more classic-sounding tunes in store. its a kind-of strange choice for the first song to market from the album really. but then again bruce springsteen chose radio nowhere as the first single from his latest album and its nowhere near the best or most representative song on it. so i reckon there is still hope. what an amazing singer paul is though! im a fan of his, but still i didnt think he had this in him!
