Why is it that White Comedians Aren't Funny???

Now are we talking about stand up comedians, or film/skit comedians?

Chris Rock is possibly the best stand up of the past 10 years, but on screen he does poorly.

It took you lot too long to come up with Robin Williams and Monty Python.

Everyone posting on the first page needs to go and sit on the naughty step for ten minutes, except for those mentioning Bill Hicks.

I apologise, I should have said "american white comedians" but for some reason I forgot about those ameircan white comedians that are legends. I guess what I meant to say was about the comedians from today or those from like the 90s and on.

yeah, that does make a little more sense. The main reason I got so ticked was because the whole white/black/hispanic comedians thing ties together with race comparison in our world.

I can understand if some people prefer their race (or a different race) over others, but there's no reason to be so narrow-minded and prejudice about it. In other words, don't come off like a racist, whether or not you are one.

Take this for example; I knew a girl back in high school. She's white, but she constantly went on and on about how she would only be with black guys. She also said things like "black guys are more romantic than white guys", "black guys are stronger than white guys", "black guys are better in bed than white guys", etc.
I am not a racist, but when things like that are said (at the expense of your own race, nonetheless), I get a little pissed off.

Okay, I'm done straying away from the topic. Anyways, kudos for rewording your point greaserkat. It might help a little in the long run, because things are starting to get a little cluttered in this topic lol

Oh, and that Family Guy quote is from the Season 3 episode "To Love and Die in Dixie", where the Griffins move to the South to escape a convict who's after Chris.

They open a closet in their "new" house, and find Jeff Foxworthy in it. He says a "You Might Be A Redneck If..." joke, and Stewie then says "You suck!" and slams the door in his face.
It was a funny moment...but it seems not everyone can relate to Foxworthy's "Redneck" jokes.

I could say the same thing the other way around. I've heard a lot of great things about 'Monty Python', but in all honesty it's so hard for me to find it funny.

I would like to reinforce the fact that white comedians are funny.

I went to The Teenage Cancer Trust comedy night last night in The Royal Albert Hall, Which was basically Noel Fielding and his strange array of comedian friends all of which were fucking ace.

Noel is a very talented man. Even though I'd seen the majorirty of his material at previous gigs, I was laughing so hard, I literally had tears running down my face.
