i have a show today. im nervous. i dont know why, i always get nervous before shows.

At the moment I'm pretty much low...low... I'm so fucking too low that I couldn't even do the blow...

OK....so last night COMPLETELY SUCKED!!!!! Showed up at the Stadium for One Republic on the College Crocs tour, and there was a LOUSY opening band. I mean, they sucked.
So then Fabulous (some rapper) is supposed to come on as the "official" opening act, and he is HALF AN HOUR LATE GETTING TO THE STADIUM! And since I HATE rap I wasn't even thrilled about his set.
So then they have re-set time before One Republic goes on, and by this point I'm kinda aggravated because they are the only group I came to see. But then what happens?

Hey guys, I've got some really bad news for you. Ryan, the lead singer of One Republic is going to the hospital. He's got a medical emergency, and they are taking him to Detroit to have emergency surgery tomorrow. So unfortunately the show is over for the night.

Terrific. So all I got to see was some rapper idiot. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course there's no news on the One Republic website about what happened, so no clue what's going on. I was going to reserve judgment on being angry with One Republic until I figured out what was going on, since if it's a medical emergency there is nothing you can do about it. But if it was just someone was too drunk or high to perform or something then I'd be pissed. But I'm frustrated I couldn't see them.

A tooth of mine hurts. I want to rip it out.

So they finally posted a blog about the lead singer from One Republic...apparently he hurt his ankle (specifically the Achilles Tendon) while playing basketball at the SAC (Student Activities Center) before the concert, and that's why they canceled the show. That would explain the ambulance and stuff we saw racing to the SAC while we were walking to the football field for the concert. So I'm not quite as angry anymore, but still a bit peeved.

I just proctored my LAST final exam EVER! What a bittersweet experience. Oh well...no time to dwell on it...got a paper on French Salons and Salonnieres to write before Saturday!
