He has a few unusual ideas. Maybe you could call them delusions, but I am not a psychiatrist, so I wouldn't be able to say.
But, how long have people here been trying to "reason" with him - or just make fun of him? If they try over and over, will he suddenly snap out of it and see "reality" as we do? Or is his situation probably more long term in nature?
Anyway, a little restraint maybe would be good. Please at least consider it. The only alternative is to endlessly discuss the same points with him (or make the same types of jokes about him over and over). That is not good for anyone.[/QUOTE]
....um yea. many of us have tried. its one of those 'beat them or join them' things. if you cant ignore it, learn to turn it into something good, like horrible entertainment.
hes got such severe superiority complexes that its actually quite comical. maybe hell learn to laugh at himself as we have, and he can become a functional human being, instead of a delusional narrow minded sheep. :) i figured he should be called a nice animal with fuzzy wool. it seems to be his favorite.

Yeah, I get the humor. Thanks for responding to my post, by the way. I do understand that some of the people responding to TM are very funny people, so of course, they will have funny posts regarding him. Some people here are going to be amusing regardless of the subject - they can make any thread seem entertaining to everyone.
I'm just trying to say that I wonder if anyone here actually realizes that he might have mental illness of some sort beyond the big ego which many here have diagnosed already. It is my opinion that making fun of him may be similar to going to a mental hospital and telling everyone there how stupid they are. If he is not crazy then he is really good at fooling all of us with his joke. I mean, if it is a joke, the consistency in the character is very good - and if it is a joke, then I would be the first to admit that it was clever.
Oh, well. I really do not want to lecture anyone. I think most people here know best how to behave. I won't bring this up again, as this is the second time I have said this same thing.

i give you a lot of credit for responding tactfully :)
i know what youre saying tho. at the same time, like i said, he has some superiority complexes to deal with, and really, until he were to deal with things and admit it to himself something was wrong, in a sick way, the jokes we make could be a way he realizes 'hey somethings up'
unlikely...but possible :)

I was in a band called "Henry Pyndle And The Cocksuckers" and we were better than you.
