In my case, 75% of the stuff I listen to is somekind of metal which is irritating to others. The rest 15%(Queen, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, etc.) is made up of hard rock and 10% other stuff.
The only bands I listen to that may qualify for the "Death metal" moniker are In Flames and Opeth. Both are from your country and they're both awesome.

opeth has some pretty good stuff but in flames suck, i wouldnt call either of them death metal though
