I was very sad to hear this. I've always loved George Carlin.

You've got to be kidding me. He was one of my favorite comedians -- what a loss. Rest in peace, Mr. Carlin. You shall be missed deeply.

He will always be one of my favorites. Despite his outlandish views (to some), I can't think of a single time I've ever disagreed with him.

For those in the US, there will be a re-run showing of the very first Saturday Night Live ever, which was hosted by George Carlin. Airing at the usual time.

George Carlin is the greatest. ever.

No one comes close....

Even if you took the comedy bits out of his show, you would still have some great speeches from him and you would still learn from what he had to say. Great man, great thinker. I think they should have his name next to the defination of "common sense."

So sad, he is certainly missed.
