John C. Reilly is hilarious as Dr. Steve Brule on Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job. Definitely changed my perception of him.
And Jack Black is merely overexposed right now. He's funny, but when he appears in every other movie in existence, it can be a little annoying. It'll all die down soon enough, though.

What I found rather strange is that he's going to lock himself in a room to watch a Jack Black movie over and over again.
I personally expected that movie to be 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' or 'Edward Scissorhands'.

Fatty, Jack Black is a hilarious actor. He actually reminds me a lot of you, I don't know why, but he certainly does. I've watched Be Kind Rewind a lot lately. Great film, buy the DVD as soon as you can. It's very funny, and everytime I watch it, I end up laughing. Mos Def is pretty funny in the film too, including the part where he pronounces "Keep Jerry Out" backwards which is of course "Peek Yrrej Tuo" and so it sounds like he's saying "Peak Your Age Tee-Oh"... that's a very funny part in the film. You'd have to watch it to understand. Jack Black is fucking hilarious, I can't get over how funny he is. You and him are very similar!!!

Well, I'd like to turn this thread into a film. I can cast people around MY neighborhood. I can wear a fatsuit and drive a Bolens tractor around the neighborhood, and my neighbor, Nelson, can play Fatty. As they both look a like, except for their ages, in which Nelson is like 67 I think. But same physical appearence basically. This is wonderful.
By the way, this is to Danny.. you might be looking on the net for Britney Spears upskirt photos, or boob photos, or even photos of her hairy caboose, but I'm telling you, she's down Greg Khin's trousiz right now, giving him some Jeopardy!!!

I'm guessing I'm in the minority here but I honestly dont find Jack Black in the least bit funny. I liked Cable Guy but Black didn't have a very big part in that.
The first film I saw with him in a leading role was Shallow Hal which was awful. Dont get me wrong, I loved all the other Farrelly Brothers movies (Kingpin, Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary) but Jack Black was just annoying. The worst film I have seen him in has to be School Of Rock. My kids forced me to sit through it with the promise that it would get funnier at some point. I had to beat them and stop their pocket money for three months for telling fibs.
I suppose it all comes down to personal taste but Jack Black does nothing for my funny bone.

In the context of a funnyman, I don't really mind Jack Black. I'd be lying if I said I'd never laffed at him, put it that way.
I don't understand it when Tenacious D is mentioned as though it's a real band, though. It's like when people talk about Spinal Tap or Bad News like they are real. :/ In their native element as people who do funny music, they're quite good. That solo in Wonderboy is great fun. I'm not sure how it got to people talking about them like a real band, or Jack Black saying it was time for Dio to move on.
