Nope, you're doing nothing wrong. It's another one of those typical mistakes.

In my opinion, the studio version, from what can be heard, is OK. But then again, it's not the entire song.

It sounds really good so far.

Judging those 45 seconds... I like it less than the live take...
Too slow. The bass does nothing for me. And I'm worried about the production of vocals on the entire album... but we shall see...

Call me a hypocrite if you will, but I have changed my mind about the studio version of this song. I put my Bose headphones on instead of just listening through my laptop speakers and the difference was remarkable to say the least. The sound is down right thick and powerful, and the depth and purity is wonderful.

You can really hear the humor in Paul Rodger's voice. For example, I love it when he sings "They may say I'm dumb, but uhhhh." It actually put a smile on my face to know that the band is pissing all over the so-called celebrities of our time. I mean, kids like Hannah Montana shouldn't have so much fame and fortune -- it rottens their innocence and youth. God knows how she'll turn out to be. She gives the wrong impression to little girls. Young celebrities like her give them the impression that they have to look and act a certain way to be beautiful - which is complete and utter trash that should be taken to the dump immediately.

I am really looking forward to the album now -- I'll just disregard the cover until I look at it through a microscopic lens. Maybe then I will find it's inner beauty or whatever. Hell, I might even see the band!!!

Think it sounds very funky and the guitar and vocals are genius as expected. The song judging from the clip is not sensational but it has a very nice feel to it.

Listen to it and your earphones and i can guarantee it will have you rocking wow man these guys are masters of work. excellent...

I'm surprised and impressed. Great production, great drums, great vocals, great guitar. I already forgot that the riff is stolen. I still don't think the chorus is as good as the rest of the song, but it's catchy anyway.
I'm curious if it's gonna chart. Even makes me a little bit excited about the album, which I couldn't have cared less for until now.

I like it very much. I still prefer the live version, as this one seems to be overproduced in some points. The last part of the live version had a strong feel to it, and the last bits were perfect. That was sort of lost in the new version, either by all those sounds crowded together, or by the new ending itself.

Overall, I quite like this version as well, don't get me wrong. It's just that the older one had a more real feel to it, as this one is a nice studio production, perhaps with some excesses. I would like the album version to be a more spaced one, with less crowded sound effects. Maybe the "Chinese Torture" guitar sounds in the end should have their own session of the song for us to profit better from it, for example.

Well, I must say that I am as happy as a young boy with a new toy. I have waited for this album for so long and it seems to be coming in a rockier way than I could have ever imagined. Long live Queen, long live "Queen+"!

One word: FUCKING AWESOME!!!

IMVHO it's very good, although a tiny little bit faster might have been better. Paul's voice is excellent and Roger's drumming still surprising in places. The guitars don't do much for me because that "heavy" side is not my thing, but I appreciate the thick layered sound. 7/10 :-)

Im pretty sure Brian took on the bass.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roger played bass actually.
