Oh, that's cool.
Since first hearing the radio rip Monday afternoon, with each new day this song seems to get better.
I'm loving Paul's vocals, very powerful, very crisp, sounds good within the song too. I'm feeling the harmonies too, good to know the boys can still do it.
I don't really subscribe to this stollen-riff lark... yeh it's sound like three seconds of The Metal by Tenacious D, but its just a simple riff encompassing a couple of notes that have probably been used on a fair few other songs in the history of time in different tempos etc. The little pull-off on the third fret of the e-string after a couple bars of the riff is also featured in Ball & Biscuit by The White Stripes if people want to get picky, but I digress... Every now and then I notice a new little something by Brian in the background, top stuff. Makes me itch for the album even more.
And as for Rog's drums - this guy is at his best. The guy was awesome in the 70s, didnt like the 80s stuff when he let synth-pad into his life, and his mid-90s stuff was better, but on this track he just sounds class. Maybe it's better production than he's had for a while, but everything about him sounds powerful.
It's not classic Queen, but it's new, and I'm loving it.

I agree Roger's drums sound nice and heavy....very impressed with his work lately - he sounded phenomenal on the studio version of The Call..and now great on this.....looking forward to 13 tracks of brilliant stuff.....Paul and Brian make this rock too obviously....track is very catchy as I find my self playing it 10+ times a day and humming it the rest of the time....
Is it getting any airplay in the UK?

Sorry, but i just don't like the chorus.
The harmonies tend to make me subconsciously think that they're going to launch into "And Your Bird Can Sing" or something Beatles-y.

Well when I've heard it on the Al Murray show, my thoughts were "well, at least it's heavy".
Personally I really prefer the studio version.
I really love the song, the only problem is the main chorus. It feels slightly "copy & paste" from a completely different song, you know what I mean ?
It feels like we're listening to a NWOBHM song, which suddenly turns into a 60's lollypop chorus with annoying melody played in the background. But still the result is a song which definitely stays in your mind wheter you like it or not, and with the correct promotion it has a chance to be the opening track of Greatest Hits vol. 4

I'm not a huge fan of it right now, but i don't hate or dislike it either. I think it may grow on me. But I'll bet this song could be the opener for the new tour, its got that feel to it.
